Equal access to rights

A route for a person with a disability, their family, or anyone facing a barrier to a service, education, work, or information. The Constitution protects equality and core rights; specific accessibility conditions, services, and payments are set by special legislation and procedures.

Equality Access to a service Not legal advice

Start with the barrier itself

Common situations

Application or documents were refused Ask for a written reason for refusal and check the service procedure before choosing the next body.
Barrier in school, healthcare, or public service Describe the concrete action, date, institution, and rule applied to the person.
The issue concerns citizenship or foreigner status The constitutional framework does not remove citizenship, migration, or registration rules; check the special procedure.

What to prepare

  1. Describe the specific barrier, date, and organisation involved.
  2. Keep the reply, refusal, service conditions, or another document.
  3. Check the special law and procedure for the service separately: this site does not replace them with a general explainer.
